Pro tip: A stuck injector line on a 6.0 Powerstroke taught me to always check the little things first
I was under the hood of a truck in our shop bay, fighting with a line for an hour. My boss walked over, tapped the hold-down clamp with a wrench, and it popped right off (the bolt was just a quarter-turn too tight). Now I start with the simple stuff before I grab the big tools. Anyone else have a 'duh' moment that saved you a ton of time?

My old man had a 1987 F-150 that would just die at random. I spent a whole weekend chasing gremlins in the ignition system. Turned out the negative battery cable looked fine but was corroded under the terminal clamp where you couldn't see it. A five dollar cable and ten minutes fixed what I'd been overthinking for two days. It's crazy how often the fix is right there in front of you.

Sounds like a basic lesson to me. I mean, that's just how you should work on anything.

Yeah, took me like three failed projects to figure that out. I'm a slow learner sometimes.
