My old boss at the shop in Tulsa said to always crack the injector lines before pulling a head, and I skipped it once
He was right. I figured the pressure was already bled off after sitting overnight, but when I broke the first line loose, diesel sprayed clear across the bay and soaked my shirt. Now I crack them every single time, even when I'm sure it's dead. Anybody else got an old timer tip they ignored once and paid for?
