Unpopular opinion: the empty lot at 38th and Blake should stay empty
Walked past that dirt lot across from the 38th and Blake station last week and counted 11 tents and a food truck, more life than most of the new lobbies on the block. Half the people I know say build 12 stories of office there tomorrow to fix the housing and tax base, the other half say every tower going up in RiNo is already sitting half leased. Feels like we either pave it over for another glass box nobody fills or leave it as the last unplanned corner in the neighborhood. Which way would you push if it was your call?
