Fog lights beat streetlights on my industrial loop, hands down
Drove my usual route off I-25 near the old Gates factory at 5am and the streetlights just washed out the loading docks completely. Swapped to fog lights for the last month and I can actually spot the faded curb paint on those narrow lots without guessing, anyone else deal with that glare problem on their showings?
You really think those fog lights are doing you favors on an industrial loop? Streetlights are mounted high for a reason, to spread light over a wide area so you catch movement and shapes, not just a narrow strip of ground. Fog lights throw a low, tight beam that leaves everything above waist height in the dark, so good luck spotting a pedestrian or a stray pallet jack before you're on top of it. That washed out glare you hate is actually your eyes getting the full picture, not guessing at faded lines. Sounds like you traded one problem for a bigger blind spot, honestly.
