The day I stopped clicking "remember this password" on everything
For like 5 years I just clicked "save password" any time a browser asked. Didn't think about it at all. Then last month I had to factory reset my phone after dropping it in a puddle at a bus stop in Portland. Went to log into my email on the new phone and realized I had zero clue what my password was. Had to sit there going through 6 different recovery options for an hour while my bus drove off. Now I use a password manager with 2FA and I actually type my passwords in manually every time. Anyone else have a moment where they realized how bad their password habits were?
Wait, was it the same thing where they froze your card for no reason? I had that happen after I tried to buy a taco and it flagged as 'suspicious activity'. Took me like an hour on hold to get it sorted and I'm still not sure if the taco was even worth it lol.
