Vent: my IT guy at school told me to reuse my old password with one number changed, and I almost did it
He said it was fine for my personal email since I change it every 6 months and nobody is targeting a teacher in Ohio. Then a student got into my gradebook portal last month because his old password from a 2021 breach was still floating around, and I spent a whole Saturday resetting everything. What do you all use that is actually simple enough to stick with?
