Tried a password manager vs. sticky notes for 30 days, guess which one won

Last month I decided to test my two password methods head to head. I kept my work logins on a sticky note under my keyboard, and personal accounts in Bitwarden on my phone. By day 12, the sticky note had fallen behind my desk twice and I almost locked myself out of payroll. Bitwarden took maybe 10 minutes to set up, and it auto-filled everything without me hunting for scraps of paper. The real kicker came when my coworker saw me typing a 14 character password from memory and asked if I was a robot. Has anyone else switched away from paper and found it was less painful than they expected?

Day 12? That's cute. My sticky note under the keyboard has been there since 2019, and it's survived two office moves, a coffee spill, and a coworker with sticky fingers. Bitwarden locked me out on a Sunday when my phone died and I needed my bank password from my laptop. The note was right there. You also have to trust some company with every key to your life, and I don't. Paper doesn't get hacked, doesn't update, and doesn't ask me for a master password I'll forget the moment I'm in a hurry.
