That $40 password manager subscription paid for itself in one afternoon
I got burned in March when a phishing email got past my work's filter and hit my personal inbox. I clicked the link and typed my Google password before my brain caught up. The only reason I didn't lose everything was because I'd paid $40 for a year of a password manager back in January. It had autofilled a random 16-character password for that site, so the phishers got a useless string. I spent the next 3 hours changing every password anyway, but I would've been scrubbing my bank accounts without it. Anyone else think paying for a password manager is worth it over the free browser one? I'm still not sure the extra features justify the cost every year.
