I just spent $40 on a password manager and it already saved me

I always thought writing passwords down on paper was fine until my wallet got stolen last week. The manager flagged a weird login from another state and locked everything down before they could get in. What's the best free one to tell my friends about?

Honestly that sounds like a lot of fuss for nothing. Paper worked fine for decades before all this tech stuff. Just keep your notebook somewhere safe, not in your back pocket. Those managers can get hacked too, then all your eggs are in one digital basket. Why pay for a problem you can solve with a bit of common sense?

But what about when you need to share a password with a family member in an emergency? Paper doesn't help if you're not home, and texting it is super risky. A good manager lets you do that safely without leaving a note on the fridge.
