Hot take: I thought password managers were a hassle until my bank account got hit

For years I refused to use one, thinking writing them down was fine. Then someone got into my Capital One account from a data breach on a site I reused a password on. Setting up Bitwarden took maybe 20 minutes and now I don't have to remember anything. Has anyone else switched after getting burned?

Ever wonder why banks don't just give us password managers?

Same thing happened to me with a reused password. @the_oscar, banks would rather sell you fraud protection than fix the root cause.

Set up two-factor on your bank account too, it's the only real backup when a password fails.
