Hit 1000 unique login attempts blocked in a single day last Tuesday and it completely changed how much I trust the VPN I had been half-using

Seeing that triple digit number pop up on my security dashboard made me realize my old habit of just using the VPN for sketchy sites was getting me nowhere when half those hits were trying default router admin passwords from the outside, has anyone else felt more paranoid after actually checking their firewall logs?

Oh yeah, that'll make you paranoid quick. Once you see all the bots and random scans hitting your IP, you realize how much noise is always out there.

The constant scan noise totally changed my view on that too.
