Had a wild week of phishing attempts at work... all of them from the same guy

Last Tuesday I got like 15 emails from someone pretending to be our CEO asking for gift cards. I almost laughed but then he called my desk phone pretending to be IT and asked for my password. Blocked his number after he tried a third time from a spoofed area code in Miami.

Did you report him to the police or just block the number?

Read a study that said most people just block the number and move on. Way too many scams out there to report every one, cops aren't gonna do anything about a random text.

Blocking's free, reporting takes effort I don't have.
