A coworker's comment made me lock down my home network finally
After a phishing test at work caught me clicking a fake login page, my IT guy said 'your home setup is probably worse.' Spent last weekend changing the router admin password and turning off WPS on my ASUS in Portland. Anyone else get a wake-up call from a work audit and realize your personal security was way behind?

That phishing test thing happens to way more people than anyone admits, so don't feel bad about it. My own wake up call came a couple years back when I noticed my router was still using the default login, the same one printed on the sticker, and I'd had it for like four years. Changing the admin password and killing WPS are honestly the two biggest wins you can get in ten minutes, so you did the important stuff first. Most people never bother, they just leave the factory password sitting there forever and wonder how things go wrong. Good on you for actually doing it instead of just feeling bad about the test.
