Honestly, used to think checking the wind was just for the pros. My lack of skill has turned me into a full on amateur meteorologist though. Kept the boat in one piece this season, mostly sporting a new dent in my pride.

Maybe, but reading the weather right can save you from needing perfect dock skills in the first place. Both seem pretty key to not messing things up.
