The tower crane crew in Seattle paints their hooks orange and I keep thinking about it
Walked past a job site near Pike Place last Tuesday and noticed every hook on their tower crane was painted bright orange, not just the block but the whole ball too. Asked the guy on the gate and he said it started after a near miss with a delivery truck, now the ground guys spot it from half a block away. Any of you ever paint your hooks or is that just a West Coast thing?
