That $400 wireless remote was a waste, my old cable control still wins

Spent $400 on a fancy wireless remote for the crawler here in Tulsa, but it lagged bad on the second week and I nearly set a beam down wrong. Swapped back to the tried cable pendant, zero issues since, anyone else had a pricey upgrade flop like that?
