Had a near miss on a tower crane last Tuesday in the rain

Swinging a load of rebar over a busy street when a gust caught the tagline and almost sent it into a bus stop. Has anyone else had a close call with wind that made you rethink your whole setup for the day?

Yeah that sounds terrifying, I had a similar scare with a wall panel gusting sideways in light rain and it spooked me for days.

Bro come on, a wall panel gusting in light rain? That's just some loose siding or a bad install, not a life or death moment. I've had actual roof shingles fly off in a storm and I just grabbed a ladder the next day to patch it. Unless the whole house was literally shaking, I think you're overhyping a minor fix.
