Took me 45 minutes to fix a curl that went sideways mid-session

A client came in with perfect ringlets, but one section near her crown just kept falling flat no matter what I did. Finally realized my diffuser was pointing at that spot and basically blowing the curl out. Has anyone else had a tool placement issue mess up your work for way too long?

Bet that diffuser was fighting the nozzle angle on top of the curl pattern.

I bet that diffuser was fighting the nozzle angle like a toddler deciding which way to fall. Probably ended up with one side of her head looking like a perfect spiral and the other like a confused tumbleweed. The whole time you're thinking "just tilt it 30 degrees left" but gravity and 1950s dryer engineering have other plans. Classic case of "my hair won today" playing out in real time.
