That $200 hair steamer I bought on impulse was a total waste

I got this fancy Q-Redew steamer last month thinking it would save my dry hair between washes. Used it 3 times and it just left my hair frizzy and weirdly damp, not hydrated at all. Anyone else regret spending big on a single-use tool like this?

Wait, $200 for a hair steamer? Are we talking about the same thing as like a garment steamer? Honestly, I'm a bit shocked people spend that much on something just to make their hair less frizzy. Ngl, I use a $20 fabric steamer from Target and it works fine for my shirts, so I can't even wrap my head around what a $200 one would do. Tbh, I feel like at that price, you're paying for a fancy brand name or some gimmick that probably doesn't make a real difference. It just seems like a huge waste of money when you can get a decent one for way less.
