Peroxide on hairline after color, mix opinions welcome
I started wiping leftover 20 volume along the hairline before foil placement to catch stray strands, and it cut my cleanup time by like 15 minutes per appointment. But a stylist at the booth next to me said that just dries out the skin and causes irritation down the line, even with barrier cream. Anyone else testing this and seeing a difference, or am I playing with fire for speed?

Hear you on the speed thing, that 15 minutes adds up fast when you're slammed back to back. But that stylist has a point, even if it stings to hear. I've seen clients come back with dry, flaky patches right along their hairline weeks later, and it's almost always from repeated developer exposure like that. Barrier cream helps, but it's not a total shield, especially if you're doing this every single appointment. Maybe keep it for your quick touch-ups but go back to the slower method for full color days. Your skin (and your clients' skin) will thank you later.
