I blew $80 on a 'miracle' scalp scrubber that did nothing

So I saw this TikTok ad for a fancy electric scalp scrubber that promised to fix my dry scalp in one wash. Paid $80 for it and used it exactly 3 times before the bristles started falling off. All it did was tangle my hair and leave plastic bits in my sink. Has anyone else fallen for one of those overhyped hair tools?

Honestly the "sink full of plastic bits" thing got me. I bought a similar knockoff from a random beauty site and the bristles legit started shedding like a cheap Christmas tree after two washes. I spent a solid 10 minutes picking little black plastic pieces out of my drain. Ngl these scalp gadgets are such a scam, they all seem to vibrate just enough to tickle your head but not actually do anything useful. At least we both learned the hard way that $80 is better spent on a good clarifying shampoo or even just using your fingers in the shower.

Man that sucks. I fell for one of those scalp massagers from an Instagram ad last summer. Paid like $60 and the thing just vibrated weakly while making my hair look like I stuck my finger in a light socket. It also died after two months and now it just sits in my bathroom drawer mocking me. Honestly I think half these TikTok hair gadgets are just repackaged junk with fancy packaging. At least you're not alone in the regret club, my sink has seen its share of plastic debris too.
