I grabbed a $12 pH and porosity test kit from a supply store in Tulsa last month and found out 7 of my 10 regulars have high porosity hair they never knew about, which explains why their color fades in 3 weeks instead of 6, so now I'm curious if anyone else tests porosity before every color service or just goes by feel?
