Guy in chair 3 asked for a haircut that matched his aura, and then apologized to his own hair
Had a walk-in at the salon on Saturday, a guy maybe 26, who sat down and told me he wanted a cut that "let his energy breathe" but also kept it "tight on the sides for job interviews." I asked him for a length and he just held up two fingers and said "two inches of trust." When I started cutting he went quiet, and about ten minutes in he looked me dead in the eye and said, "Please don't hurt her, she's been through a lot." He meant his hair. He called his hair "her." I finished the cut, he looked in the mirror for a long time, tipped me 5 bucks, and said his girlfriend would "probably still leave" but at least his head felt lighter. Has anyone else had a client personify their own hair, or is my chair just cursed?
