Finally figured out why my foil highlights were taking forever
I switched from using precut foil sheets to tearing my own from a roll and it cut my application time by like 15 minutes per client. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a difference in how the foil lays against the head?

Oh man I gotta push back on this one HARD. I tried tearing my own foil for like two weeks and it was a MESS for me. The precut sheets lay so much smoother against the head because the edges are all clean and straight. When I tear my own no matter how careful I am I get these jagged edges that poke out and catch on the next section. Plus the precut ones are already folded at the top so I don't have to waste time folding each piece by hand. I actually found my application time got LONGER with the roll because I was fussing with torn edges and trying to get them to lay flat. Different strokes I guess but I'll stick with my precut sheets forever.

Precut sheets are just throwing money away for no reason. A clean tear off the roll is easy if you pull the foil tight across the box and rip it against the serrated edge smooth. Plus tearing your own lets you cut each piece exactly as long or short as you need for that section of the head, no waste from the standard precut size.
