Was totally against scheduling posts until I tried it for 30 days straight

I used to think scheduling content was lazy and took away the whole point of being a creator who interacts with their audience. But back in February I had a huge project come up at my dog grooming shop and I knew I wouldn't have time to post daily like usual. So I sat down on a Sunday and wrote out two weeks worth of Instagram stories and TikToks using Later. Honest to god it was the smoothest two weeks of engagement I've ever had. I still jumped on to reply to comments in real time, but having the posts lined up ahead of time freed up so much mental space I didn't realize I was wasting. Now I do a mix of scheduled and live posts and I feel more consistent and less burnt out. Has anyone else found that scheduling actually helped their creativity instead of hurting it?

Started doing the same thing for my Instagram last fall when I got slammed with custom orders. Having that buffer of scheduled posts made me feel way less stressed and I actually had more energy to engage with people in the comments. Did you find it helped you spot trends in what posts worked best too?
