Vent: My raw filming vs scripted videos were total opposites
I tried strict scripting for 10 videos. Took 2 hours each to write and film. Views were flat. Switched to just talking with bullet points. Same topics, same length. My last raw video got 4x more comments in 3 days. People said I sounded like a real person. Has anyone else seen this with their own channel?

The "sounded like a real person" thing - did you change your actual delivery or just cut the script?

That scripting thing is usually a trap for new creators. The algorithm likes when you sound like you're just figuring stuff out in real time, not reading a robot script. You probably sounded a bit stiff or rehearsed on the scripted ones, even if it felt right to you.

Blame @robert_anderson69 for even bringing this up, now I'm self-conscious about my "natural" delivery too. Guess I'll just stare blankly at the camera and hope for the best.
