Tried recording a podcast in a public park, got chased by a goose
I thought it would be a good idea to record an episode with my co-host at a park in Portland last Tuesday for "ambient nature sounds." Ten minutes in, a goose waddled up and started hissing at my microphone like it owed him money. I tried shooing it away with my arm, but it honked louder and actually charged my tripod. We packed up the gear real fast and ran to a nearby bench, but the goose followed us for like 50 feet. We ended up recording the whole thing in my car with the windows up. Has anyone else had a wild animal ruin their shoot?

Uh, Portland doesn't actually have wild geese like that.

Wait, are you sure that wasn't someone's pet or an escaped farm goose? Portland parks have Canada geese but they usually just chill and don't chase people like that. What park were you at exactly?
