That YouTuber who said 'post daily or die' wrecked my whole channel for 6 months

A bigger creator told me I had to upload every single day to grow on YouTube. I followed their advice and posted 30 videos in one month. My views actually dropped 60% because the quality went downhill so fast. People unsubbed because they got tired of rushed, low-effort content. I went back to a weekly schedule and my watch time doubled within 3 weeks. Has anyone else had someone give them advice that made their numbers tank instead of grow?

Read somewhere that the big channels can afford to post daily because they have editors and teams, but for one person it's a fast track to burnout and bad content. Your experience proves the algorithm rewards consistency more than frequency.

The algorithm gods are fickle creatures lol. I once tried that daily upload grind too and my subs were like “please stop, we’re begging you.” Quality over quantity is the real cheat code.

Nah but if you're not posting often the algorithm forgets you exist.
