Spotted a creator filming a whole setup in a Portland coffee shop
I was grabbing a coffee at Stumptown on 3rd and saw a guy with a full camera rig, a tiny mic, and a ring light filming his laptop screen. He was doing a voiceover about editing software, completely unfazed by the normal cafe noise. How do you guys find spots that are cool with that kind of production?

My friend got kicked out of a library for trying that.

Start by pointing out that libraries usually ban loud behavior, not the coffee itself. I think your friend probably got asked to leave for talking too loud or something, not for the actual drink. And @felix147 is right about the location, but the real issue here is just knowing your surroundings.
