Shoutout to the micro-influencers who actually film their own stuff vs. the ones who hire an editor to look authentic

I was at a creator meetup in Austin last week and overheard someone bragging that their editor 'makes them look relatable' and it got me thinking - does that defeat the whole point of content creation? Are you more likely to trust a creator who fumbles through their own edits or one with perfectly polished videos that feel fake?

Bro I feel this so hard. I was at a similar thing and this girl was literally bragging about how her editor makes her seem like "she just woke up looking cute" and I was like... you literally just told everyone you pay someone to fake that lol.

Actually Austin's not that big, I ran into that same person at SXSW talking about her 'unfiltered' content.
