My podcast hit 500 downloads in a week and I'm honestly confused
I started a show about local history in my town six months ago. The first few episodes got maybe 50 plays each. Then I did one on the old train station fire of 1923, using some old photos I scanned. It hit 500 downloads in seven days. I didn't do any special promo, just my usual posts. It matters because it shows people really want the specific, weird stories, not just general topics. I thought my niche was too small to ever get those numbers. Has anyone else had a random episode blow up like that for no clear reason?
