I thought the 'post every day' advice was garbage until I tried it for 30 days on my gaming channel
I always rolled my eyes at those YouTube gurus saying you have to upload daily to grow. Seemed like a cheap way to burn out and make trash. But my channel was stuck at 340 subs for like 8 months, so I said fine, I'll do 30 days straight of short gameplay clips, no skipping. By day 12 I was ready to quit, but then one clip hit 40k views overnight and I got 900 subs in a week. The weird part is the algorithm didn't reward the volume, it rewarded me getting faster at editing and picking better moments. I still think daily is dumb long term, but for a month it forced me to stop overthinking every upload. Has anyone else done a short daily sprint and actually seen it stick, or did your channel tank after you stopped?
Learned the same thing with working out years ago, doing something every single day for a month beats waiting for the perfect moment every time. Sounds like the daily grind just forced you to get reps in and the reps are what actually made you better.
