I finally stopped filming everything with my phone and got a real camera

For like 2 years I was just using my iPhone to record my roofing tutorials and it looked okay but the audio was terrible. I picked up a used Sony ZV-E10 off Facebook Marketplace for $350 and the difference is night and day. Has anyone else made the switch from phone to camera and regretted not doing it sooner?

That reminds me of when I upgraded my car speakers and realized my old ones were basically held together with duct tape and hope. The difference in clarity made me hear parts of songs I'd been missing for years, like a hidden layer in the mix. It's funny how you don't notice what's missing until you actually hear it, you know?

Ngl @jamesf26, spending money on a lossless cable feels like paying extra to hear the same song with slightly more regret in the vocals. But yeah, the audio is genuinely cleaner, like the noise floor dropped dead and the bass stopped sounding like it was recorded in a tin can.
