Found out on a podcast that most YouTubers quit before 50 videos

I was listening to this podcast with a guy who studied like 1000 creator channels. He said something like 70 percent of people who start a channel never make it past their 50th video. That number blew my mind because I'm sitting here at video 38 and feeling stuck. It made me think about how many people just give up right before they might start seeing real growth. I found the stat on a podcast called Creator Science, it was from a study they did last year. Has anyone else heard similar numbers or hit a point where they almost quit?

Oh nah, I think that study actually said 70% quit before 100 videos, not 50. I listened to that same Creator Science episode and remembered the guy saying most people burn out by the 100 mark. But honestly 50 or 100, the point still stands - most people tap out way too early.

Used to figure the main reason people quit was just bad luck or lack of talent or something. But hearing that stat about the 100 video mark made me rethink everything. Most folks probably stop right before things start clicking, which is a bummer because consistency is the only real shortcut I've ever seen work. Your mileage may vary, but that number stuck with me too.
