Can we talk about the 3-second rule for hooking viewers on YouTube?

I read a study from a creator analytics site that said 30% of people click away in the first 3 seconds if you don't grab them with something specific, so I tested it on my last 5 videos and my retention jumped from 40% to 65% just by starting with a clear question instead of a logo intro - anyone else notice a big difference after changing their intro style?

Did you test the question cold or hook them with a pattern interrupt right before it?
