Walked a half finished high rise and the laser level was doing all the work
Stopped by a job site in Austin last Tuesday and watched a crew of 3 guys put up ceiling grids, the robotic laser was basically running the show while they just moved ladders. I couldn't help but wonder how many foremen out there are secretly just babysitting these things and calling it supervision. Has anyone else seen a site where the tool makes the crew look like extras?
Read a piece in Construction Dive last month saying laser levels can hit a tolerance of 1/16th inch over 100 feet. Sounds like those guys are just there to catch it when the battery dies.
