Vendor pushed a drone mapping package on us, then ghosted when it failed
The sales guy from a company out of Denver convinced our crew foreman that their $6,000 drone bundle would replace our total station for layout checks. First test on a 40-acre site in Fresno, the GPS drift was off by 2 feet on the east boundary. Called them three times last week, no return calls, and now we're stuck doing double work with the old gear. Anyone else get burned by a tool that looked good on paper but couldn't handle real dirt conditions?
