Why does nobody talk about how the moon landing footage was shot in a studio?

I overheard a guy at a diner in Dallas last week swear he saw the original 1969 broadcast with a visible studio light reflection in the astronauts' visors. Has anyone else ever noticed that, or am I just buying into the hype?

Wait, you think that reflection might have been a studio light and not just some weird glare from the sun? I'm pretty sure I'd still buy the whole thing even if I saw an actual stagehand waving in the background, that's how little I trust my own eyes.

Nah, I think your eyes are probably fine. That reflection is almost certainly just a lens flare from the sun, not some hidden studio light.
