What I saw at the Denver airport last month makes me wonder about those underground tunnels
I was waiting for a connecting flight at DEN and noticed a service elevator that went down 4 floors past the public area. A worker with a keycard went in and it stopped at B3, which isn't on any terminal map I've seen. Has anyone else spotted odd floors or doors at big airports?

My buddy swears he saw a door marked "Level Z" at LAX.

Wait, hold up @clark.robin - tell your buddy it's probably just "Level B" he saw. Airports use single letters for concourses or zones, not full alphabet letters like "Z" for floor levels. LAX has a B concourse in Tom Bradley Terminal. Maybe he misread a faded sign or something.

Oh wow, I never thought about that. Maybe Level Z isn't underground but actually stands for something else, like "Zone" or "Zero" and it's just a weird naming thing for maintenance areas. idk, just seems odd they'd use a letter that far in the alphabet if it's really just another basement level.
