The old forum archives vs. new live streams, I chose the archives

Back in 2015 I used to burn whole evenings reading through old UFO forum threads, the ones from 2004 with dial-up era scans and wild theories. Then my buddy started pushing me toward live YouTube conspiracasts, saying the archives were dead weight. I picked the forums because I liked seeing the trail of arguments, how someone's claim got picked apart line by line over 40 pages. The live streams feel too polished now, like everyone's performing for subscribers instead of actually debating. Last week I pulled up a 2009 thread about the Denver airport murals and found a user who'd posted blueprints from a library microfiche, that kind of depth is gone. Has anyone else gone back to old archives and felt the newer stuff just doesn't hit the same?
