Question about why nobody questions the vaccines side effect reports

I spent last week digging through the VAERS database after my cousin in Phoenix showed me her son's reaction timeline. She kept a daily log, 12 pages, and the entries line up almost too perfectly with what the pamphlet lists. But every time I bring this up at work or family dinner, people just shut down. I compared her documentation against the official reports and the numbers are way off from what gets quoted on the news. Why is it that we can debate 9/11 or the moon landing endlessly, but questioning vaccine data is treated like a crime? Has anyone else tried to cross-check those public files and hit a wall of noise that makes no sense?

Did you check if those VAERS reports are raw and unverified, since anyone can file one?
