My uncle told me to ignore the whole 'birds aren't real' thing back in 2018
He was a retired engineer, and when that drone theory got big online, he just laughed. He said, 'Jenny, look at the cost. Replacing every single bird with a perfect machine? The budget would be bigger than the military's, and someone would have talked.' I thought he was just being a grump, but then I saw a video from a guy who took apart a 'drone bird' he found. It was just a broken toy from a kid's birthday party, wires and a cheap motor. My uncle was right, it was a joke that got way out of hand. Now I see new stuff pop up and I remember his advice about checking the basic numbers first. Anyone else have a family member who shut down a wild theory with some simple logic?

Exactly, my grandpa always said to ask who pays for it first.

Remember my dad pointing at a flock of geese and asking who'd change their batteries. He worked in logistics his whole life and said the supply chain alone would be impossible to hide. Sometimes the simplest question just wrecks the whole idea.
