My barber in Phoenix just dropped a flat earth theory on me mid-haircut
I was getting my usual trim last week when he started talking about how airline flight paths are fake. He said, 'They show you a map, but the real routes are different, it's all to hide the true shape.' He was dead serious while holding clippers near my ear. I just stared at the mirror, trying not to laugh. It made me rethink how normal people can believe wild stuff when it's told with total confidence. The whole thing was so absurd I almost forgot to check the back of my head. Has anyone else had a totally normal person hit you with a conspiracy out of nowhere?

Wow, that's wild, my mechanic did the same thing with moon landing stuff last month.

Oh man, @willow_morgan, it's like a weird trend. My uncle's barber went off about it too while giving a haircut. The trick is to just nod and steer the talk back to the actual service. Ask a super specific question about your car's brake pads or oil type. It works every time because they have to switch gears to their real job.

Huh, funny how that keeps popping up everywhere... I was listening to some podcast about Apollo missions the other day and it got me thinking too.
