Last Tuesday was the worst day of my whole month and it started with a flat tire

I got up early to beat traffic, walked outside and my front driver side tire was completely flat. No nail, just a slow leak that finally gave out. Then my coffee maker decided to stop working halfway through brewing, so I had to run to the 7-Eleven on Broad Street and grab a gas station cup that tasted like burnt plastic. At work, my boss called me into a surprise meeting and told me our whole project budget got cut by 30 percent, so I have to redo three months of planning. To top it off, I dropped my phone in the parking lot and cracked the screen right across the camera lens. I sat in my car after work for 15 minutes just staring at the dash and wondering if the universe was messing with me on purpose. Has anyone else had a day where every little thing just lined up to ruin you?

universe was messing with me on purpose" - I feel that deep in my bones. Had a day last year where my car battery died, then my work laptop bricked, and I found out my ex was dating someone new all within 4 hours. What helped me was keeping a little repair kit in my car, a backup charger for my phone at my desk, and buying a cheap backup coffee maker for like 20 bucks. It's dumb but having those quick fixes ready stops the domino effect from wrecking the whole week.
