I used to laugh at chemtrail people until I saw the patterns myself

I always thought chemtrail folks were just seeing things in the sky. Then last summer I started noticing these persistent grid-like lines over my backyard in Phoenix that would hang around for hours while normal planes left trails that vanished in minutes. I downloaded a flight tracker app and checked - those lines didn't match any commercial flight paths for 12 straight days. I'm still not saying it's some big government plot, but I can't unsee how weird the patterns are now. Anyone else ever actually track the flight data and get confused?

Huh. Well that's a different level of effort than most people put into it. I gotta ask though, what kind of flight tracker app did you use? Cause the free ones sometimes don't show military or private traffic, and those can have different contrail behavior depending on altitude. I'm not defending the chemtrail theory, just saying if you're gonna be a skeptic about the tracker data too, you gotta check that angle. Otherwise you're just swapping one mystery for another.

Yeah @holly_sanchez75, that's the thing about free apps - you get what you pay for, and sometimes what you get is 'well, maybe I didn't see that plane because the app's cheap.' I used FlightRadar24's free version back then, and it definitely skips some military and private stuff, so you're right to call that out. Guess I traded one rabbit hole for another, just with better data this time.
