Had a chat with my neighbor about 5G towers last Sunday that got me thinking
He said the radiation worries are overblown but the real concern is how easy it would be to spoof emergency alerts through those things. Made me wonder if anyone's ever actually tested that theory with a cheap SDR setup.

Grabbed an old TV antenna and a $20 SDR dongle to test that once. Picked up a bunch of weird signals that probably aren't meant for public consumption.

Honestly that's like cracking open a weird radio egg and finding a mystery inside. Tbh you probably heard someone's garage door opener ordering pizza, or something way spookier.
