Used to wet cure every job for 7 days straight
Changed my whole approach after a warehouse floor in Des Moines cracked anyway. Now I use a spray-on curing compound. Saves me two days of labor and the slab hits 4000 psi faster. Anyone else ditch the plastic and hoses?

@thea_mitchell20 I was all about wet curing till a cold joint blew my mind. You're right, the spray stuff just works.

Oh man, I feel you on the Des Moines job. That's rough. I switched to a spray-on compound a couple years back after a slab in Omaha did the same thing despite me keeping it wet for a full week. The compound just makes life easier and the psi climb is definitely faster. Plus I don't have to worry about the plastic ripping or drying out overnight. I still use water on smaller pours where I can actually sit there and babysit it but for big jobs the spray stuff is way more reliable.
