That time I realized I'd been bullfloating all wrong for 8 years

Had a guy from a crew in Phoenix stop by my job last Tuesday and watch me work for like 10 minutes before he asked why I was dragging the bull float instead of pushing it. After I picked my jaw up off the slab I tried his way and it cut my finishing time in half - so who else had a basic move flipped on them way too late?

Watched a guy for 10 minutes before he said anything, I would have been so ticked off if I'd been wasting years like that. But hey, at least he didn't let you keep doing it wrong forever, right? Some people just love watching you struggle before they chime in, like they're building up a dramatic reveal. I bet he felt like a hero walking up and dropping that knowledge bomb on you. Glad it worked out though, half the time is a game changer!

Damn, 5 years? That's brutal lmao. I can't believe nobody said anything to him for that long, like were they all just letting him waste his time on purpose? That would drive me nuts if I found out I'd been doing something backwards for half a decade and nobody bothered to speak up. At least your guy only watched 10 minutes before he said something, that's still kinda shady but beats waiting years lol. Some people really do love the dramatic reveal though, like they're saving up that one piece of advice just to flex on you. Still though, half the finishing time is nuts, I bet you felt like an idiot and a genius at the same time.

My buddy spent 5 years trimming in the wrong direction before someone finally told him...
