Rant: The new quick-set mix we used on a patio in Austin last month failed spectacularly after the first rain.

The homeowner is arguing we should have known the product was wrong for the climate, but the supplier swore it was fine for Texas heat, so who's actually responsible when a specified material fails?

Check the product warranty and supplier's written specs first.
