My bull float handle snapped mid-pour on a 40-yard slab last Thursday
Had to finish the last section with a magnesium hand float, which took forever. What's your go-to backup tool when something breaks on site?

Oh man, that's rough! My buddy had his trowel snap clean in half once. He ended up using a piece of scrap lumber as a makeshift float to finish the job.

Yeah, that's the kind of thing that would happen to me... I'd probably try to use my hand and make it ten times worse.
